Why a challenge coin?

You might be wondering why I've Been Bucked is built around a challenge coin.

After all, there are easier options. Stickers are everywhere. Patches have their place. Hats and shirts come and go. So why a piece of metal that fits in your pocket?

Because a challenge coin means something.

Long before challenge coins became collectibles, they represented belonging. They were quietly exchanged among military units, first responders, and organizations where trust, service, and shared experiences mattered. You carried a challenge coin because it represented who you were and the people beside you.

The Ford Bronco community has always been different.

Whether you drive a pristine 1966 restoration, a trail-built second-gen, a full-size Bronco from the '90s, or a brand-new gen six (sport or full-sized), there's an unspoken connection when Broncos cross paths.

When we created I've Been Bucked, we wanted something that honored that culture. We chose a challenge coin because it carried the same values the Bronco community already lives by: loyalty, adventure, respect, and a willingness to help the next person on the trail.
